When I put together a look, it’s the fashion accessories that complete it and make it stand out. They add character and elegance to the entire outfit. But there’s one fashion accessory that also doubles up as one of the most useful and important things I carry, and that’s the smartphone. Whether I’m uploading the latest from the events I attend on my Instagram stories, or taking great pictures, it’s super essential that my smartphone looks as on trend as my outfits!
Your smartphone isn’t just a phone anymore – in the past two years, manufacturers have been raising the bar over and over to bring out innovations that turn the phone into a lifestyle device. Let’s face it, most of us communicate mostly through our phones and it’s much easier than getting on to the laptop for everything. That’s why when I was invited to the unveiling of the Le Eco Superphone, I found that Le Eco \ took the concept of an ‘entertainment device’ several steps ahead. Read to know more about what Supertainment means to Le Eco with the Le Eco 1s and how you can discover it too!
What does it take, to create something out of what you love, to build something that has its foundation in your passion for something wonderful?
For me, as a creative professional and blogger, the hardest thing to do so far has been to ‘start’. You may wonder why – but think about it, when you’re told to come up with a brilliant marketing idea at work, or to write your college essay that might open up avenues for you, or to even just work on an ambitious new project, the most challenging thing to figure out is how to start.
It’s that time of the year, when cricket’s on everyone’s minds, when winning one of the international T20 matches is like life and death for a billion Indians, when every cafe and restaurant has people looking, eyes glued and glazed over, at the TV screen and when no other sport seems to exist. The ICC World T20 series has had some nail-biting matches, but little did I know that I’d get to literally watch and experience one of them!
Fashion for me is self-expression; it’s something that’s part of whatever I do, wherever I go. I never miss the chance to snap the outfits I wear, or browse through my favourite fashion apps for inspiration. I love being efficient when it comes to this blog and exploring fashion, and so for me my smartphone is my most valuable fashion accessory. I recently had the chance to discover the LeEco Le 1s by LeTV, a new entrant in the segment of good-looking, efficient smartphones. I’ve owned many phones through the years and some of my top criteria include an amazing front and well as back camera, a vibrant display, decent memory and slim phone body. Let’s take a look at how the LeEco Le 1s makes for an amazing fashion accessory from my point of view.
As a fashion blogger, I’m constantly connected, and on the move. My full-time job as a social media & digital marketing professional also ensures that I’m always social, reading new articles and discovering new ways to do my work better. I’ve always wanted to have something handy that would help me multi-task better. Carrying a laptop gets cumbersome after a while, even one as light as the one I have requires a separate sleeve and bag to carry it in. That’s when I had the chance to try out the all new ASUS ZenPad 7.0, a new and sleek tablet from ASUS*.
Google, as a company, has always had a special place in my heart because of my summer interning there at Gurgaon, in 2008. I was one of the select few students from top colleges in Delhi University to join as an AdWords intern. It was for six weeks, but nothing can match how much I learned and grew during that period, with our marketing presentation pitch ideas eventually being forwarded to the global Google Apps (now Google Drive) team. It was then that Google was growing its presence in India.
How is everyone doing? Life has been (pleasantly) busy the past few weeks. Lots of excitement at work, tons of work with Sartorial Secrets and lots of happiness in general! In the whirlwind of activity that’s been going on lately, I confess I haven’t exactly taken time out to relax.
At the heart of it, I’m laidback and prefer getting things done fast. If you know me at all, you’ll smile when I say that I LIVE online. As if my full-time job as a social media/digital marketing professional wasn’t enough, I shop, order food, get laundry done, even order my morning coffee sometimes, all online. Doing everything online somehow is like you have a shopping assistant, chef, and tailor, all in one, like a concierge.
