Hi loves! It’s been a great couple of weeks, I recently got a lot of new music to listen to, and I’ve been listening to it wherever I get the chance. I’ve got Radiohead’s In Rainbows album stuck in my head, in the best way possible! I have a couple of interesting events lined up too for the coming weeks, which you’ll see pretty soon on my Snapchat (follow me here if you don’t yet!).
Sodabottleopenerwala is one of the best Parsi restaurants I’ve been to, with its old-world, retro vibe, its hilarious take on Parsi culture and most of all its delectable food. I was recently invited to the Parsi Lagan Nu Bhonu, a month long celebration commemorating 3 years of the restaurant, with the traditional Parsi wedding feast.
I’ll stop wearing black when they invent a darker colour. No, seriously. Black is so – classic, so you-can-never-go-wrong, so universally flattering and elegant. Whether it’s a little black dress or a pair of form-fitting black skinnies, shiny black boots or a black trench, if I could live in black I would. There was a point when there was so much black in my closet that my mom worried I was going goth. But too much black can also get a little boring. So I’m going to show you some inspirations I have on how to wear black and still stand out! Read on.
Being a blogger isn’t a cakewalk. It’s a lot of hard work, where often you’re playing so many different roles at the same time. You’re your own writer, photographer, editor, marketer and stylist rolled into one. Most of our time goes into coming up with quality content for our blogs but often, so that we can sustain ourselves and recover the many costs that go into running a blog, we work with brands and PR agencies to bring you some interesting new launches, products and more. In this part of the series, I’m going to talk about certain things we wish PR agencies knew before working with us. Coming up will be another part where I talk about bloggers and their approach to PR agencies too.
Nachos are my first love when it comes to easy to eat fast food. Those little triangles of crunchy goodness topped with jalapenos, olives, salsa and globs of melted cheese…mmm. They’re my go-to food to order whenever I’m out with friends or when I’m in the mood for eating junk. So when Hard Rock Cafe announced their Nachos Gone Wild festival, of course I did a small jig in my head as I accepted the invite! Read on to know about all the different types of nachos and margaritas we tried.
Valentine’s Day has traditionally been a celebration of love. A day set aside for people in love, or people looking for love. It’s almost always about that special someone, a person who lights up your life with something as simple as a smile or knowing just what to say to you.
What if we look at it differently for once? While last year, in my Valentine’s day post, I talked about what love really means, this year, I’d like to focus on something else for once.
Hi loves! I have been on a shopping spree of late when it comes to natural beauty products. There’s one thing we’re seeing a lot more of this season and the last – shoulders. The off-shoulder trend has captured the imagination of every top retailer as they seek inspiration from the runway. If you’ve ever had to struggle with hair that frizzes up at the slightest opportunity, you’re not alone. The slightest hint of humidity in the air, or a slight chill in temperature and your hair is full of flyaways that just won’t stay put! If you’ve tried every serum or cream possible to hold it in place, read on because I recently found a product that works really well to tame that mane.
