Looking for a quick and easy Diwali eye makeup look? Don’t want to use 84569 products and spend way too much time on it? I came up with this super pretty and easy to do eye makeup look that’s perfect for Diwali! Read on to know how you can do it too.
How to do an easy Diwali Eye Makeup Look
For this blue and gold Diwali makeup look, I used the MAC Tropic Cool Times Nine palette and the Makeup Revolution Chocolate Rose Gold palette. I wanted to step away from the conventional browns used for most Diwali makeup look ideas so I decided to try blue and gold. It also goes with my blue Diwali outfit coming up tomorrow on the blog.
- MAC Prep + Prime
- Maybelline Fit Me Foundation in Natural Buff
- Colorbar Full Cover Makeup Stick
- Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion
- MAC Tropic Cool Times Nine eyeshadow palette
- Makeup Revolution Chocolate Rose Gold eyeshadow palette
- Smashbox Superfan Eyeliner
- Sephora Eyeliner
- Colorbar Eyeliner
- Benefit They’re Real mascara
- Chanel Blush
- Smashbox Spotlight Highlighter Palette
- MAC Fix+ Makeup Setting Spray
- Huda Beauty Liquid Matte Mini in Heartbreaker
Step 1: Foundation & primer
I used MAC Prep + Prime all over my face as a base.
Next, I applied Maybelline Fit Me Foundation using my Beauty Blender.
Step 2: Concealer
I used my Colorbar Full Cover Makeup Stick as a concealer for my under eye area.
Step 3: Eye Primer
I used Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion all over my eyelids as a base. You may skip this step if you used foundation on your eyelid, that works as a base too.
Step 4: Eyeshadow
Next, I used the Fresh Blade neutral shade from the MAC Tropic Cool Times Nine palette all over my eyelid with a flat eyeshadow brush.
I then took the Bright Sided shade and lightly dabbed it onto the centre of my eyelids without making the colour too dark.
Using a round fluffy Zoeva brush, I took the Blue Envy shade and lightly packed the colour on to the outer corner of my eyelid.
Finally, from the Makeup Revolution Chocolate Rose Gold palette, I chose the shade ‘Gold Digga’ and packed it onto the Bright Sided shade.
Step 5: Eyeliner & mascara
I created a winged liner look with the Smashbox Superfan Liner, and used Benefit They’re Real mascara on the lashes.
Next, I lined the first half of my lower lashline with blue Sephora Contour eye pencil in Surfer Babe and the other half with green Colorbar I-Glide eye pencil in Jaded.
Step 6: Blush + Highlighter
Finally, I used Chanel blush on my cheekbones and the Smashbox Spotlight Palette as highlighter.
Step 7: Lipstick & Makeup setting
I applied Huda Beauty Liquid Matte Mini Lipstick in Heartbreaker and set the whole look with MAC Fix+ Makeup Setting Spray.
Aaaaaand done! The eyeshadow took most of the time while the rest was quick and simple. Try this Diwali eye makeup look with jewel-toned outfits for your celebration. A welcome change from most of the purely gold/brown looks you probably have been seeing around!
