5 Fashionable Eyeglass Frames To Style ft. Specsmakers!

Ever since I was a kid, I’ve been fascinated by glasses and eyewear frames. My whole family wore them, except me and though I didn’t want the issues associated with it, I’d always try on my parent’s or brother’s glasses to see and imagine how I’d look if I had them. Back in the 90s when I grew up, frames and lenses were pretty limited. But recently, with the emergence of geek chic and non-prescription eye glasses, my fascination is back. For those of you who do wear glasses though, I’ve put together a few of my favourite frames from Specsmakers and styled them for you! Take a look 🙂

Specsmakers is a chain of optical stores that focuses on modern, on-trend eyewear and eyeglass frames to fit all kinds of needs and customizations. With about 100 stores across South India since 2007, they even offer eye testing on the spot at their stores so you can discover the perfect pair of prescription or otherwise glasses, created for you. Their services also include free repair and cleaning, and they currently have some great offers going on in their offline stores.

The Sun-On Clip-On is one of their most innovative offerings. Not a fan of photochromic glasses? Don’t want to keep switching between your glasses and your sunglasses when it gets too hot? The Sun-On Clip-On is a polarized lens layer that fits flawlessly on top of your glasses with a magnetic strip. It is super easy to carry around and use.

Rimless glasses are a great option to wear to work – they look professional, are lightweight and take you through hours of staring at your computer screen during your workday. They also make your peripheral vision a lot clearer and suit most faces. They’ve recently become popular for their minimalist style and are closely associated with fashion. Specsmakers has a lot of different shapes and types of rimless glasses which you can check out at their stores.

From being ‘nerd glasses’, black eyeglass frames have been reclaimed by librarians, fashion forward women, and the tech industry now. If you’d like to go for something classic, try a pair of these square black frames.

I really like oval eyeglass frames though – there’s just something about them that makes my look more polished and chic! They’re like a mix between Harry Potter-style glasses and reading glasses.

The pop of colour in these frames caught my eye! They’re unisexand have more of a sporty touch to them – great to wear on a casual day with your friends.
